
About Jacob
Jacob is a seasoned and versatile play-by-play broadcaster. For the past three years, Jacob has provided play-by-play for Major League Baseball’s Postseason game telecasts in India, produced by the Emmy-award winning MLB Network.
As part of this project, Jacob has called over 50 Postseason games, including action in each round of the playoffs, including the 2023 World Series. Jacob has also contributed as on-air talent for additional assignments within the MLB family. This includes co-hosting the inaugural episode of "MiLB Big Inning" and calling the MLB Desert Invitational, MLB's prestigious college baseball tournament as part of opening weekend.
For the past six years, Jacob has served as the lead broadcaster for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the New York Mets, Double-A Affiliate. During this time, Jacob called the team's first Eastern League Championship in 11 years, four no-hitters, and rehab starts by Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander.
Jacob has also served as the radio voice for the Binghamton University Women's Basketball team.
Previously, Jacob anchored reports for WFAN, CBS Sports Radio, and Sirius XM Radio, along with broadcasting games for LIU Brooklyn. At FAN, Jacob also filled in hosting the Yankees Postgame Show, along with contributing to the station’s Giants, Devils, and Nets coverage.
In addition, Jacob has voiced highlights with mlb.com and served as a sports anchor for 1010 WINS in New York City. He also called football, basketball, and a variety of other sports for MSG Varsity. Jacob began his career broadcasting games with the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Tampa Bay Rays short-season minor league affiliate.
Jacob has served on the Alumni Society Board for his alma mater, Penn State University's Bellisario College of Communications. In his spare time, he is a car and travel enthusiast.
